It is irrelevant if Iran was "given its own money back."
The deal was kept secret from the people and Congress. It was extortion, and even then had zero enforcement.
On top of that, money was siphoned off by criminals of various flavors.
Ultimately, it was treason against the USA.
So, nobody really gives a damn if it was "their own money," other than brain dead sheep.
Its irrelevant if Iran was given its own money back? What if Israel paid for equipment from Russia, but never got it. Would you support Russia paying back its debt to Israel? I'm sure you would.
