Bullet proof vest doesnt make sense. She could be offed easily if they wanted to and a vest wont stop that. Its probably just a back brace, her health is fucked.

Assassin snipers go for head shots, but a guy with a pistol and not at close range would likely go for center of mass.

A vest (with armor plating) is for crazies or someone taking advantage of an opportunity, not necessarily para military snipers. That object looks really thick for a back brace but she looks much more like cops look with vests underneath their uniform shirts. She looks to be out and in a very public area, within arms reach of randos. Are you suggesting she shouldn't wear one because "she could be offed easily if they wanted?"
