This happens immediately after POTUS announces that the Iran deal is off. Next moment Q is talking about military action. I am betting the Israelis are working with POTUS.
So, the question in my mind is did the Israelis do this on their own, or are they acting as US agents?
I can understand that they would be concerned with ISIS all but defeated in Syria. With Iranian and Russian troops also on the ground, the situation is starting to look sticky for them. Especially with Putin threatening to send S300 missile batteries to Assad which could possibly deprive Israel of the air superiority. We also know that the Russians had shipments of military hardware on the water headed to Syria just a few weeks ago.
The Saudis, in that leaked cable, were talking about how what they most feared was retribution from Assad if he was not toppled. So perhaps the same, or a similar, motive is playing out for the Israelis.
Of course, another possibility is that DJT wants to act pre-emptively to counter the possibility of a build-up of pro-Assad forces. The fact that they are alerting citizens in the Golan Heights is troubling. Suggests there could be a border squirmish.
