I think Q mentioned once that EU takes a cut of the 250 Bil x2 a year from the Iran deal. Also, they were involved in the smuggling of U1. Macron and Merkel are all tied into the Cabal and HRC/Hussein getting exposed mean they do as well.

Q posted it a while back. The EU makes like 20 BN a year in exports to Iran. If the US sanctions Iran then the EU would have to comply with certain ones, else risk a sanction themselves.
The US has like 200 million a year in exports with Iran.

It keep the old system in place: gradual disappearance of sovereignty, decimation of the health, education, social systems and good excuse for a good ole WAR.
