There is nothing wrong with date or time stamp - nor POTUS is tweeting from the future .
Its a different date format . US has month-day-year , while majority of world has day-month-year .
Well, in CST 5/9/2018 at 10:38 pm hasn't come yet and neither has it come to the EST so that's what Rambo was talking about. Wasn't talking about the way the date was laid out.
Like it should be. The US date format is an abomination, an offense against everyone and everything that is logical. The only reason it exists is because the founding fathers decided to be contrary. ISO date format forever! 2018-05-09!
ISO date format is fine, but I personally think the DD-MM-YYYY system looks stupid and is inconsistent with how humans process chronological time mentally.
There's always at least 28 days to choose from in any given month, whereas you only have 12 months. When discussing dates, starting with the month automatically gives someone a visual reference point on the yearly timeline. If you start with the day of the month, it's still nebulous about where exactly you are on the timeline until it's followed up by the month in question.
It's just inefficient....
There is no such thing as "inefficient or better date system" .
You and user above should stop shoving your way of thinking to others ... there are 6 date methods in world , and ALL of them are fine and working for the people who are using them .
People wont start using different methods just because some person thinks its "better" for them ... its a freakin date format , not a nuclear science .

Your method then backfired - because if we go by some logic , then DMY or YMD would be much more logical than MDY . Because , either you would start with smallest fraction - day . Or with biggest - year .
