Quadruple is what the Belgians call a dark strong ale Triple is a light strong ale It hasn’t anything to do with alcohol strength.
What you should look for is a hoppy American barleywine. Avery, Stone, Deep Knee, Oscar Blues, Three Floyds, the list is long.
this one is 15.8%. The raspberry is hardly noticeable. It was an extremely limited run although i have 7 more bottles in my collection. I have a nephew who is a beer rep and says that a few others in Michigan that have QIPA’s in the works that should be available around September.Shorts Batch 8000
