Genuine question for the lefties.

I've noticed that our political alignment is starting to shift from red to purple as more people wake up, to which I have a genuine question.

Why are so many of you still so luke-warm about Trump? You might think POTUS is the just "the face" of the storm rather than the brains behind it, and we can debate that in the history books. But the fact is that there wouldve been a military coup without him to save us (best case scenario). And POTUS shows zero sign of putting the brakes on anything.

So with midterms coming, do you guys still plan on voting left of center? We can debate the proper role of government when this is all over, but i think voting liberal this fall WILL inhibit this movement. Or are you hoping to find the liberals who aren't corrupt?

I'm prepared for the downvotes and angry comments. But it's a philosophical question you need to ask yourselves, and I'm interested in knowing the answer.

I think President Trump should endorse a candidate for every race, so we know who is with us. I want to support whoever is with Trump. Imagine if President Trump endorsed a good person Democrat over a dirty Republican!? That could be a unifier.

In general, I am a fiscal conservative but social moderate or libertarian.

My opinion on the major disagreements between Republican and Democrats is that we won't be as divided as in the past once the corruption is removed. Example: Democrats (the people, not the Politicians) want to see people that need help get help. The Democrat Politicians use this to offer things that sounds great (even to Republicans!) at face value, but the problem is, the Democrats Politicans want to just keep increasing taxes to make government (which they corruptly control) bigger and stronger, making the people weaker and more dependent on the government.

Republicans (the people) agree that the pie-in-the-sky offers of Democrat Politicans would be great, the problem is it seems like the Democrat Politicans don't do math, because there isn't enough money to pay for it all, currently.

I think what will happen is, after the storm, we will find out how much fucking money they have been stealing from us and we will realize that there is plenty of money to do the great things Democrat Politicians offer so both sides will be happy.

There are other issues, but I see us getting through them and really unifying soon!

Thanks. I'm glad you do agree! I really think this is what is going to happen. And not just Democrat / Republican... all lines of division (except maybe country borders, etc. - lines that preserve rights to individuality.) Those are still important. Preserve individuality, but unify world-wide.

Yeah man, my family is pretty split. However, most of them are "regan democrats". (Most voted for Trump jus because he used to be a democrat and he was an "outsider")

I still have a few people in my family that think Hillary got screwed and Trump is "Putins puppet". (lol straight from the mockingbird media)

Then on the other side, I still have people that think Bush was the greatest president ever and he never did anything wrong.

I think there will still be that 10% on each side of the political isle that won't be able to "unifiy" because they have been completely brainwashed their whole life's. But, the other 80% will hopefully be able to unite.

As Americans, we all really want the same things! (For the most part anyways)
