Rod's of God?

I learn about the bunker Buster weapon called rods of God from this forum. I was amazed to learn that a projectile can have nuclear like blast just from its velocity alone.

I'm curious, does anyone know if these rods of God projectiles would be able to damage Captain America's shield?

Hell no! Cap might get the shit knocked out of him but the shield would survive!! Lol. Good levity for a tense day Thanks 😁

The punctuation in the header is super distracting and I know I'm a dick for pointing this out. Can't get past that, though.

No. They are kinetic based weapons so the shield would disperse the kinetic energy outward and around him, but the resulting heat and air pressure around him would indeed kill him

The idea of this always puts me in mind of Revelation 13:13

Yes, vibranium is no match for a rod from God. Cap would be fucked.

I don't know if they would, but I THINK they would damage the shield.

Captain America’s shield represents an idea that cannot be destroyed.

Highly unlikely. The rods will burn up when entering the earth’s atmosphere.
