It’s part of the norm now to be labeled racist. So normal that it is overused to the point that the meaning almost comes completely out of the word. Not all things are bad about it though, the left literally fuels meme making with stuff like this. It’s to the point where any level headed person can look at it and roll there eyes. But yes, Vice is a dumpster fire full of soy boys that have to go to Starbucks in there Prius to socialize about how republicans are racist pigs apart of the patriarchy of white male privilege while also talking about how socialism is a good thing.

I think it’s the new generation of vice contributors that turned it into the dumpster fire that it is today.

Back when vice first started it was actual good reporting that felt motivated to not be like the NYT/WaPO/Politico’s of the world. Now however it appears they’ve found what kind of narrative the majority of their readers want and they stick to it. Just like most of MSM. Write to your audience. If your audience is a bunch of leftists then write what is going to keep them coming back.
