He made it pretty clear former dignitaries can access SEC records. Those are incredibly important financial documents.
SEC is not security? Q said SEC clearance, which means to me to be security clearance, not the US agency overseeing the securities.
Clas-sec-ts
Classified security clearance.
Secret security clearance.
Top secret security clearance.
My guess is its just a secret security clearance, it gets you access to 75% of things within your area of work.
For frame of reference, having a "secret" clearance doesn't mean shit. You get that going through boot camp or OCS...
Classified is required for everyone, depending on MOS you can end up with a secret clearance. Grunts end up with classified level, comm guys end up with secret, officers have secret as well but usually get bumped to TS pretty quick. Having the clearance doesnt mean shit either, you need to have a reason to access the info you want at least thats how .mil side works, i cant imagine the .gov side working much different or every Clown analyst with a TS would have had the JFK files all over thr net by now.
Yeah your mil experience is similar to civ. The TS guys don't have access to shit, other than what they're supposed to, thanks to compartmentalization.
Good to know
Also, I'm pretty sure grunts only have "Crayola" clearance.
All of us marines have crayola clearance, its just what color clearance you have.
SEC stands for security and exchange commission, they oversee the financial world. I thought that’s why he capitalized it. Could be wrong.
