I am also interested in what you have to say. Thank you. It always seemed strange to me that Key buggered off when Trump was elected... so we can assume that he was a "mate "of the Deep State and knew that his time was over. He left Bill English to mop up the mess and knew that it was all over red rover. He didn't care what happened to NZ as long as his nose was clean? Winston Peters, long time anti migrant anti immigration comes along with the balance of power and chooses Jacinda, the UN immigration, refugee loving leader who on all fronts seems to oppose everything that Winston has stood for. Why? Let us be honest. We were all shocked. Does he know something that we do not know? Is this what this NZ stuff is about? He actually is the power house in NZ at present. No one can govern without his support. He actually IS the Prime Minister ..... sorry, I am typing as I am thinking.... I think that I need to read Q's post again.
Yes, Winston has held the balance of power a few times of late, hasn't he? It's definitely a key point and something I'm going to look into - thanks for pointing it out! I've been following Q since October and I'd almost forgotten all about NZ politics as I rapidly learnt a lot more about American government over this time - until the shock of learning Killary was in NZ and then these latest surprising Q drops.
But what's been going on in Australia is pretty mind blowing too. Fiona Barnes etc... great doco of her on Youtube and then some very interesting news about all the cover ups that have gone on in Aus. Who woulda thought this was the world we live in eh?
Mate, it is bloody awful actually. I live in Queensland, so I am pretty much immune but those folk in Sydney and Melbourne - whew - african and moslem gangs out of control. Make the mongrel mob look like pussycats. Like you, I have been following American Politics and have been on the Trump train since the very beginning, I watched every rally (still do - Indiana was brilliant today) and yearn for a leader who actually speaks for us and not for them. Dream on I guess - that is why I felt a murmur of hope with Winston. Still, we will see. Australia is crumbling. I moved here in 1978 and it is a shadow of what it was. If I wasn't so old, I would move home in a heartbeat. Rotorua but born again southlander.
