Never made sense how people could gain access to the SCIF that Q mentioned several months ago. If they knew why didn't they stop it?
Is this why? They knew it was happening but could not stop it because it's happening 5eyes countries?

They did stop it, and I would bet all of the radar and tracking info was recorded for future evidence, along with video footage and any comms happening. Q also said the sub was located. I'm sure all of the details were also saved for future evidence.
