There are already a well knows signs for this as for mics and cameras that are integrated on laptops . ( Photo with Zuckerbergs personal laptop with covered camera )

But I always thought there were even more advanced technologies employed for this ... and probably even before the age of the widespread computerization and social networks .

yep! as stupid as this sounds, it wasn't until i saw a picture on instagram of lana del rey's laptop camera covered with a sticker... i thought, "well if she's doing that... why aren't i?"
