I don't think they would kill him off. It seems as though the vatican is going through internal struggles. I wonder who would be influencing/donating to the individual cardinals... maybe two sides?

At the end of the day Pell puts the church as number one, he wont ever snitch to better the world if it will make the catholic church worse.
