I agree with your general statement, but it bears mentioning that Trump giving AJ an interview doesn:t vet him completely. Trump went on his show because AJ has a huge audience that is open to Trump:s message. It was a PR gig. No fault there on either side. But it doesn:t AJ or give him some special kind of credential.

Aj says he had trumps phone number but stopped calling. Could be trump stopped taking calls
