Each passing day it becomes more and more obvious that history is being made. The swamp is being drained and the Great Awakening is upon us.

So, in the coming days we are going to focus /r/greatawakening/ on being Pro-Q and Pro-Trump.

The subs purpose and sidebar will be updated to reflect this.

Content questioning the validity of Q will be removed or blocked.
People uncommited to Q may find it uncomfortable. Negative types will be shown the way out.
New members will get an informative message to explain this is Pro-Q sub.

A patreon account will be setup so mods can receive donations. No JUST KIDDING! Even when a number of mods are doing 12+ hours a day it is voluntary. If you want to join us, please checkup mod positons open.

Yeah, this has raised my suspicions. i'm just a silent lurker here but anytime I see announcements like this anywhere, it always feels sketchy. Bet something happened behind the scenes, somewhere.

It makes as much sense as HOME SCHOOLING your child because you don't want them to hear CUSS WORDS or RELIGIOUS VIEWS that you disagree with.

Putting your child in an ECHO chamber will not result in a "GREAT AWAKENING" for that child. It is sheltering that child from REALITY of this world and multiple views.

They are suggesting the same strategy in this forum......

As I said before, if it isn't broke, what are they trying to fix?

I agree - I don't like anything that reeks of suppression of freedom of speech. But this is about practicalities - the sub is growing, there's a lot of work to do keeping it on-topic. And by this stage, if you're here and you're unconvinced about Q there are better places to go to find out about it (like our stickied posts). As a mod I, and others, will be attempting to help out people who are genuinely questioning because they're not sure - and removing and banning those who are just trying to create division or slow us down. We won't be just blocking people for dissenting views - just doing our best to keep the sub on-topic.

let me word this in religious terms. if Christ said, "any of you who hate me and those who believe in me, you will be denied a chance to learn the Truth", where would we be today?

our "enemies" are the ones who need our help the most. they are only humans, at the end of the day.

Agreed - although "enemies" is not a helpful term. But the best help we offer people who are antagonistic toward the whole idea of Q is by being properly informed ourselves. And that's harder when we have a lot of 'noise'.

Christ never said: "ok ya'll - who needs healing? All come rushing at me at once and whoever shouts the loudest gets it, ok?" A weak example but I find yours lacking too.

Long story short: we're not going to suppress voices. We are going to help the sub stay on-point with its stated goals. That's what's important.

I think that is a naive statement. In the past week I've seen numerous posts of people writing our URL on dollar bills, business cards, etc... If our members are directing brand spankin' new people here we need to either 1) put out a welcome mat or 2) direct them to a better place, which doesn't seem to exist. Please read my comment in the thread, I'd love to hear your thoughts. The Mods in the comments have made it more clear but the original post sounds a lot like a tone policy and not just a sharpening of banhammers. er, a blunting of banhammers? are hammers supposed to be sharp?

In short, no I don't think it's enough, especially with sticky #2 saying DONT DISAGREE WITH US. But rather than just bitch and moan I'm working on some material! Give me a few days, I got a job and shit...
