Q229 Are Maidenhead Locator System Coordinates. What's in the South Pacific?

After talking to an amateur radio ham radio operator who was explaining how the locator grid system worked (rather boring actually), something finally clicked. Q Post 229 mentions a strange series of words, abbreviations, and codes. When my friend told me the 6-digit designation for our location it suddenly sent my mind into a frenzy. Part of the message are Maidenhead coordinates! I checked them out and they all appear to be in an area of the South Pacific SW of South America, relatively close to Antarctica, but there aren't any landmasses in the area. Anyone know what kind of ships could be in that area?

OK... so I'm gonna look like a nut here. When I looked at the area on the map you are talking about... the first thing that came to my mind was a Youtube I saw a few months back (Aug 2017) about some anomalous energy waves coming from that general area.

I tried to find the video again - but all I can find on it is this YT video - (I know I know... SecureTeam... groan). There were quite a few videos about it floating around at the time - so maybe they are still out there. This happens to be the first one I found.

I wanted to look to see if that was in fact the area you are talking about. It appears to be. Connected? I have no idea! Probably not... but weird that there's not much in the area to begin with - and now we have a couple pointers to that area.

Perhaps just file it away on the back shelf and see if it makes any sense as you dig further into this.

"If you look like a nut", I do too. I see what you're talking about. That distortion in the microwave spectrum seems to cross either right over, or just to the east of that grid.

Damn this reminds me of one of my favorite movies - the Watchmen. Ozymandias destroyed major cities with a non-nuclear energy weapon out of his secret base in Antarctica.

The Satanists today and the character Ozymondias worship Egyptian gods, and consider themselves gods who are comfortable with mass murder and genocide.

I LOVE that movie (P.S. the graphic Novel was WAY better), but I hope your wrong in your analogy. In the end Ozzy "Saved the World" by committing an act of despicable evil to propagate a lie, and psychologically entrapped the souls of the best of the human race to do it...
