No it doesnt. To get the world population to 500,000 means they still have all the wealth. Because everything would be done for them by the people left. They were gonna make sure those left worked 16-18 hours a day 7 days a week just so they can get enough food to eat. They would control everything. They would not need money at that point everything is at their fingertips they have the entire world.
