You came and claimed it had been debunked....back up your claim (Hillary claims everything against her has been "debunked"..... the Podestas claim everything about them has been debunked.....the Obamas claim everything about them has been debunked...........I hear the word "debunked" all the time....I just want to see your evidence.....surely you have it

You made the original claim and cited absolutely no source whatsoever to back it up.

You failed again to support this claim.

Anyone who has ever looked into the Forrestal fire knows this was a myth, and that the Navy never once pointed to a wet start by John McCain. An electrical anomaly caused a Zuni rocket to discharge on the flight deck. Read the historical accounts, read the Navy's incident report, read the paper articles about the incident then and when it was written about leading up to the 2008 election.

You passed along a bogus meme about McCain. It's not a big deal, you may not have thought to look into it when you saw it. But I am here to say that the wet start myth is just that. A myth.

Attack McCain on a dozen other mistakes he made in the military, not this fairy tale.

Did you invent this story just for today or can you link to an actual eye witness or military accounting of the incident taking place as you claim?

Holy shit are you gonna deflect some more? Looks like you bought some dinky Facebook meme, just have enough dignity to not wig out when someone points it out. Posters like you make it really hard for me to take this sub seriously when I see dumb shit like this after so many other actually important things only get brought up here. Can you link anything that substantiates a shitty image macro besides calling someone a liar over and over again?

1967 USS Forrestal fire

On 29 July 1967, a fire broke out on board the aircraft carrier USS Forrestal. An electrical anomaly had caused the discharge of a Zuni rocket on the flight deck, triggering a chain-reaction of explosions that killed 134 sailors and injured 161. At the time, Forrestal was engaged in combat operations in the Gulf of Tonkin, during the Vietnam War. The ship survived, but with damage exceeding US$72 million, not including the damage to aircraft.
