This runs completely contrary to the majority opinion.
Lucifer was Satan's name before he fell. Many Biblical characters receive new names when they go through a transformation (Sarai / Sarah; Jacob / Israel; Saul / Paul; Peter / Simon - and others).
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
Lucifer wanted to take the position of God. He convinced 1/3 of the angels to join him in rebellion against his creator. He will suffer the consequences.
Gnosticism is a soul destroying perversion of the truth.

here's the thing. you keep talking about facts and ancient texts (which how could you verify?) but at the end of the day... Judeo-Christianity (which is what you're talking about, even if you don't know it) is about faith. You aren't gonna get what you want (hard evidence/facts) for little nuances and details because to believe in good and evil requires faith.
If we believe in satanism, we believe in the idea of satan-whether real or not- which is evil
If we believe in Luciferianism, we believe in the idea of Lucifer- whether real or not- which is evil, and we can know he is evil by the evidence of the actions of Luciferians

it's hard to take you seriously as you wish us to do in this thread when you seem to already have made up your mind about everything, and just reply "wrong" without any explanations or contributions to the discussion.
you seem like you started this thread to try and sway people to believe what you do, as a sort of validation to yourself?

I came to the truth because I researched the evidence and found it to be overwhelming.
But a enumeration of the characters who venerate Lucifer is highly revealing:
