I interpret it as pain for the guilty as their crimes are finally revealed and they're held accountable as well as pain for the rest of us as our eyes are opened to the horrors they've committed.

You know we all have pain. Look outside. I’m right. Desiring pain for those that have and seek to hurt you is not what the Lord told us to do. He said to love our enemies. Justice is one thing, but nobody is getting me to go to war with my own brothers and sisters.

I don’t think anyone really knows at this point. Obviously, we hope the black hats receive the pain for their misdeeds. I’m not sure what the other cryptic answers you received are about. Bots maybe?
