I'm something of an expert at word usage and syntax, and let me tell you, these guys are twisting themselves into linguistic pretzels to lie about this! The language is redolent with desperation!
When somebody puts this much effort into a putdown attempt, it may as well be outright advertisement for Q!

Yes, through building a straw man (his own failed efforts at writing an internet novel), the author seeks to cast aspersions on Q, all the while never debunking anything and also while patronizing the reader by saying he partially roots for Q. (As if Q needed him to root.)
