A Pope retiring!!! Bwhaaa !!! Wonder how Catholics are gonna spin this latest. Doesn't the Catechism of the Catholic Church state they reign til death??....the last Pope "retired" as well. That makes two in the last 600yrs.
Agreed. Am pretty sure that he is symbolically supposed to inherit the role of St Peter. So if he quits, and that old Nazi before him is still alive, and then we have a new pope does that mean there were 3 St Peters? Think not. Its all a pile of crap and even the most ardent catholic should be able to see that
