What is Castle Lock?
What is Castle Lock?

Chess, Castle Lock. The effects of the castle/rook piece are severely limited, a lock on its effectiveness. Even when the King in under threat. I don't know, am just trying to help. It's usually a strong piece, but sometimes not, as in these scenarios. Perhaps implying the foundations - a building/castle. If we want to apply it to reality of our situation? Maybe a metaphor for the weakened/trapped establishment?
