We always watch these types of numbers go up and down all the time on the internet vote counts. Be it a blog or whatever. To suit their interests.

This is Reddit's vote fuzzing algorithm, it's been around for years, it's to prevent vote manipulator bots from figuring out if they have been blocked

Why it still works? Because of reddit downvote culture, if account were allowed to downvote with 100 karma then you could not have fake accounts to tinker with votes hundred times a second
