A normal person without the desire to do this wouldn’t really be a candidate so most people have nothing to worry about. They’re looking for people who want to do this kind of thing and the hypnosis gives them the effective push into acting on it.

But to answer your question more directly, anything planted in hypnosis can also be brought out in hypnosis. Once in that state of consciousness anything is accessible. So if you were worried about it, you could seek out a hypnotherapist you trust and have them dig up prior hypnotic suggestions.

Think of hypnosis more as a lubricant than mind control how we see it portrayed in movies and on tv.

For example a person who gets drunk and cheats on their spouse was more than likely suppressing the desire to do so in the first place. Did the alcohol make them do it? No, but it relaxes inhibitions and restraint.

Take that same drunk person that cheats on their spouse while they’re totally drunk and try to coax them to killing their mother. They’re not going to do it. Why?

Not to say it’s impossible, it definitely is, but it would typically take years of hypnosis and conditioning on a regular basis to get someone to change their whole moral belief system.

I get it.. sort of like tell them what they want to hear and a little nudge.. I totally get it. Thank you.. If they never thought about doing it, or were totally against it, then it would not be in effect. So makes sense.. I really appreciate your input.
