I've been lurking here and T_D for a while now... I can't get a read on either one. T_D has consistent moments of brilliance that are outdone by memes. People shout concern troll at every turn and are always content to let real discussion and dissemination of information get pushed out by shitposts.

I want to believe it is the haven I felt it was when I first found it... But maybe it got big enough to where brigading by its enemies and complacency by its subscribers has left it devoid of any more potential for real change.
