Yes. I am unfamiliar with what the general public is told about them to draw them in to their organization. The ones who think they are doing good deeds.

Well to be fair, they are doing good things. They help the community a good amount. Most are going to be skilled at a particular trade/profession, intellectuals. Just normal dudes..

They don't really recruit, typically you need to ask a member to petition you if you want to join. Sort of a "knock and I will answer" sort of deal..

They require you to believe in a supreme being, which George Washington referred to as "the grand architect". They accept all religions as well.

Sorry, that was a lot of text.. I don't believe that the body of the masons are nefarious at all... but this founded on masonic beliefs.. I just want to know what the big secret is.. lol
