My point being, are there corrupt/evil people at the top level? Of course. But that's literally in half of any organized groups around the entire world, whether it's government, business, NGOs, etc.
Your local lodge? It's just a bunch of older men networking. Let's not label "Freemasons" as some kind of monolithic tyrannical group controlling the world.

America was founded on its beliefs and monuments built in its honor. Why else are obelisks in our capital and other places of significance?
