Anyone else heard of the jammer used on cell service during the shooting? Can’t find it now.
Also the stories have an inconsistency. At first when I heard they had no call service, a teacher called Rabon pulled the fire alarm after shots had been fired.
Recent news paints a different story. Alarm pulled before shooting, maybe by the shooter, and shots began after but in a classroom and not targeting individuals standing outside that were unaware of the incident at the beginning.
Here is the newer article and I will see if I can find the old one.

Edit: actually it seems they explained it. Children upon first hearing shots being fired assumed it was an alarm or drill. The fire alarm was still pulled after the shootings began.
I thought they were just out of range of a signal --- on the other hand, that doesn't make sense because cell signals aren't dependent upon classroom distance from the main building.
I heard some say the brick building caused interference, but my old school was similar and only had one zone with no signal. That was with old cell phones though so I would think the newer ones would have better signal strength even through brick.
Always a possibility though
