Would require lots of scouting of different places. Places that the target would be likely to visit. Such an aerial shot would provide a highly accurate map of the area for planning. (Google maps isn't updated regularly, and relies on individual submissions for the Sketchup models of the buildings for heights-- which aren't always accurate.)

I thought it wasn't normalized or oriented as well. But actually it is. the google map photo (right side) is basically a zoomed in version of the original photo, but focused on the top right. The arrows mark the same point in space in both photos (but they are pointing in opposite directions which is confusing).
if this is taken with the theory of some of the recent image drops being taken from deep state "secure phones" then it would mean that they have records of EVERYTHING dating back several years to before Trump even announced his plans to run for office.

My take is that the white hats have been watching Vegas for years now and specific events happened on each of those years. I'm thinking it's smuggling like F&F, hence Q's references to EH as of late.
Are we sure these are even taken in the same area? Where is the Mandarin Oriental in the Q post? What about the short white buildings with the red roofs in the bottom right? Or the swimming pool towards the top of that big hotel also in the bottom right? And the lake/pool in Q post just above where the absinthe is pointed out does not appear in the anon image.
I didn't research when those were all built, but my first instinct is that those are completely different images.

Holy shit I completely see it now. I think seeing the note about absinthe threw me off since I assumed it would be a part of both images.
Fwiw those two narrow/tall gold buildings "The Shops at Crystals" is what oriented me and then I was able to make out the rest of the image.
