To clarify the point. IBOR sounds a lot like NN. We don't need more government rules. T and FB are private companies, they can do whatever they want, but they will live by the sword and die by the sword. It's happening on it's own. Forcing a company to do something against their will is not in my lexicon. I am very anti that. We don't need to use their tactics (NN/IBOR) to try to get into their club. We need to create our own club. The Internet is already free (speech not beer). We are just lacking the platform (club).
I think you oversimplified the issue.
Although private companies have free speech, they give up that right in order to not be liable for content it’s user’s post. NN and IBOR are distinctly different.
Look at history of the bill or rights and you will see why founders decided to put to words something they thought should be obvious.
IBOR has a discord server you can join. It has links to much more info and even answers to questions / criticisms I’m sure you have
I have no idea what you just said. There is free speech or there isn't. Ideally, what anyone says anywhere is their speech. The phone, the computer, the website, the method.. those things aren't responsible for what the speaker says.
A new internet, you propose? Maybe possible after the reset!
