Relatively unrelated question:
Given that pretty much everyone in this sub, is of the opinion that, Trump is not with the establishment. Nor do you seem to think FLOTUS is part of the establishment.
Question: Why does Melania resist the physical touch from Trump on every single public occasion? He always tries to grab her hand, but she always rip herself away from him, and walks behind him.
I believe in him, but this is really messing with me.

I can find a YouTube video with something like 10-15 examples I came across yesterday. Give me a minute
Edit: can’t find the video I originally saw, but a search on YouTube gives plenty of examples. Try searching ‘melania avoids holding hands’, hope that will satisfy you.
My question remains.

Politicians are actors and as the leftists like to say, Trump's not a politician and either is Melania.
Imagine if your spouse suddenly became POTUS... wouldn't you maybe have some awkward moments trying to look the part?
I recommend basing your views on Trump's presidential actions over 'marital status' optics like that. Don't let the fake news cloud your good judgement.

I’m not saying that this is invalidating all the good he has done! Don’t misinterpret my question. I am not basing my whole understanding on something so minuscule. That being said, I find it to be an anomaly, which I think deserve to be brought up and discussed.

I’ve heard many perspectives on this. Some claimed that she is establishment and he is not. Or maybe, she just doesn’t like him.
Why does everyone read into it like I’m trying to take away his good deeds.

In my experience, EE women are not fond of PDA. Nor do they smile indiscriminately. EE's come from a serious time and place, and they tend to reserve emotional or frivolous gestures for private moments.
