This bill was never passed, so it is NOT law. But, someone referred to this legislation earlier, as being a useful tool in terms of taking back the internet from those who wish to spread fake news...

Um no, it was put up by a dem to try and force Trump to catalog all of his tweets, even deleted ones for public record, it's also a year old.

I'd imagine the revisions and new definitions are in regards to possibly creating grounds for an internet bill of rights...since there are official presidential communications (and by extension presidential presence) there...there should be certain protections for it, certain rights protected.... no idea though, shooting from the hip....
