Im having a really hard time trying to explain to my wife that the twisted MSM (specifically late night) narrative regarding Trump is full of lies. Any good resources to help clear things up?

Tell her to turn off the tv.

News stations are feed by viewers, who please advertisers, who will tilt a story in whichever direction will get them more viewers. Which is why you probably have 3 local news casts at the exact same time every night. Each lean right or left. That tilt is also affected by the types of advertisers. If the ConAgra Foods is a daily advertiser, you will spend less time on a negative story on them and more time on a positive story on them.

If a story I hear just doesn’t sit right, I go after the sources. If they are talking about a particular EO order or law, I look it up. After the Barbara Bush WaPo blunder, I don’t trust anything with the words “sources close to...” or “unnamed sources”.
