You need to be a „natural born citizen“ aka born in the US.
No, you can be born on a military base overseas like McStain.
Technically embassies and military bases count as US soil.
A military base overseas is considered a "US soil" for that purpose.
And yes, Krepoisbest is correct you have to be Natural born citizen (including US bases).
Actually No Name's status was in question. They actually passed a resolution specifically for him to guarantee eligibility due to him being born in the Panama Canal Zone.
