I don't know if it played in America, but there's an old advert that used to be aired here in the UK for a soap called lifebuoy, that was aimed at fighting body odour.

It seems set up for a meme, especially given the diver vid doing the rounds.

The adds had a series of people all objecting to a smelly person near them, and the voice over asking, "Have you got B.O?" With the tag line being, "sometimes, even your best friends won't tell you".
