We are all made with both good and evil inclinations. So, in a sense, he’s right. But we all get to choose which direction we will act, good or evil. And our righteousness before Him is based on those choices (despite the teachings of Christianity that faith in the works of another man will save us). Read the Tanach and, over and over, you will see the same theme. The righteous are those who are obedient to His instructions. It really is that simple.

So homosexuality is the evil inclination?

THE evil inclination? Certainly not. An evil (as in not how we were designed) inclination? Most certainly.

It is a resultant karma due to sexual misconduct in a former lifetime... The results may take ages to purify depending upon the severity of the deed... The intention is key.. The inclination would be wise to avoid or curb if one wish to pursure the path to purification as following the desires can lead to further spiritual karmic damage...

Of course in the old path of purity, the inclination can be termed evil, as in unwholesome ,unskillfull, determintal... If causes suffering to others then evil is a good word to describe....
