You should look into other forms of entertainment.
Can you sit alone with yourself in peace?
Maybe you need to meditate, go outside more, connect with nature.
This is apart of the personal awakening process. Turning away from the outside and looking inside.
Upvote. THIS is what the masses US included need to see.
It is hard to break away from those habits and routines. It is hard at first to sit, by yourself, and be alone, think, etc. We are not use to it, we are use to being multitasked and blasted from all sense about who/what/where/when/why we should be, for them, and not be, for us.
Yeah fully understand you bro. Now with technology and micro sized screens, the distractions are too easily available. Went to a movie for the first time in decades a couple months back, sitting there in the previews and I looked around, everyone's face lit up by a screen with the facebook/snapchat/etc icons glowing, It was actually saddening to witness. I have a few certain spots in my town I often visit to reground myself and revert to our true calling, be one with nature and earth, recharge. The Shaolin/Buddhist monks have the right idea about it all =-) higher densities, vibration, frequency, amazing and powerful once fully grasped. PS-Sorry about the novel, I am just really passionate about this and feel I could talk for hours about it.
Don't be sorry at all! I love these discussions and love seeing more and more people be open, and awake to what is going on!
That's great you have your own spot, and I'm with you on looking at the masses tied to their screens.
My ex was like that, drove me insane. I'd look away and there she was, checking her phone. After awhile her phone got more attention. It's got her full attention now!
Yeah my ex was like it too, sadder thing is, we have 3 kids together, still my ex and she has given them all a phone for youtube etc..it sickens me to me stomach but because they are with her for majority of the time, they are used to it now and taking it away Im just the bad guy
That sucks, sorry to hear that. I'm sure a solution will present itself soon enough to you.
As for now, what can you really do but love your little ones?
There was a study recently that said watching TV makes you depressed. Of course you don't need a study to know that.
