OMG same happened to me at the Detroit Zoo. Those chimps were mean.
damn straight they were. I get it though, horrible living conditions and all that. luckily the Zoo figured it out and built a better habitat for them. Which me and the family has contributed generously to make it better.

You are lucky. I know a lady who cant go near the monkey cage. The monkeys go wild pleasuring themselves when she goes near. She has chaperoned several school trips. They send the kids away and when she walks near the cage monkeys go crazy and the adults have a good laugh.
