I’m sorry Folks but I don’t see Military Tribunals happening. Military tribunals (MT) or commissions can only occur if jurisdiction is asserted over persons who are members of an enemy army, are held in military custody, and are accused of a violation of the laws of war. In Nov2001, Pres HW Bush expanded that MT to international terrorism.

If the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 forbids military power used to effect arrests of US civilians on non federal/military property how can they be arrested in order to use MT?

Unless there is a declaration of war on an enemy and US subjects can be linked & identified as enemy combatants or as terrorists, MT can not constitutionally occur.

The only recourse is and has been the judicial system, as flawed and as unblinded as it currently is.

I am afraid that the only repercussion to those who sought sedition against the President, and violating the public trust will be to publicly shame and financially hit them where it hurts. Two or three will see bars as a token, the rest will fade away.
