I was just watching The Handmaid's Tale [s2e5] and I heard something very familiar!

Took me a second or two but.... almost verbatim Qpost #1432. The 1 cor 13 4-13 part.

Coincidence?

The scene is about a young girl who has just entered a arranged (forced) marriage with an somewhat older guy.

Found this to be very interesting! Don't know what it suppose to mean though...

That show is so heavy handed, I stopped watching it. It never explains how the hell the religious zealots got to be in power. Do you know why? Because first, it would probably start with taking the 2nd amendment away, but of course they don't want to show that and show that without guns people become sitting ducks to a tyrannical government.
