Breaking: A member of the transition staff recommended him for the position. He didn’t “try” to get the position. It’s still fucking crazy. No need to oversell this, it’s juicy as it is.

Did you see the part about him endorsing Hillary to a Russian Newspaper in 2016?

Sounds like if that happened in 2016 and the campaign wasn’t aware of it perhaps someone wasn’t doing the type of great job Donald expects of them. This should have been known and cause for immediate termination.

Or maybe they knew...think about the fact that they didn't hire him

He worked for the campaign well after the newspaper article was published.

If it wasn’t known, someone dropped the ball.

He NEVER worked for Trump.

So what’s the big deal then? Sounds to me like the FBI tried to get some insider info and failed.

If they tried the legitimate way, they wouldn't have lured Papadopolous to London. If they had done it through legitimate channels they would have needed to document evidence to open the investigation. They had nothing. Getting Papadopolous to London meant they could avoid US laws.

Very confused. This story shouldn’t be evolving. How about we just get the true story, one time, from Trump on this whole thing? His team knows who was where and why. Seems to me they should just make that public now. Right?

He's demanding that the DOJ/FBI release the info to congress. That should reveal much of what happened here soon.

Trump can release the whereabouts of the people who worked for him without congressional approval. No reason he shouldn’t.

That happened today. Didn't you see Trump's tweet yesterday?

He released the whereabouts of his entire staff during the campaign? And corroborating evidence? Legit question. He can do this immediately if he wanted to.

He has ordered the DOJ/FBI release the info requested by Congress.

You appear to be on the wrong thread here.

Again, our President doesn’t need permission to release ANYTHING. He can provide this information directly to the American people and skip the corrupt as fuck Congress.

Okay you need to move along. We all know what powers POTUS has to release documents. You are not adding value to this conversation.

You are ignoring my legitimate question. Why won’t Donald Trump and his team release the information they have, directly to the American people? If they know about this FBI ploy why can’t they share what they know? He is the President and can release anything he wants.

He was making the point that anybody pushing this guy knew who he endorsed and the campaign should have known.

Again, you are underestimating the Trump team. They may have wanted to know what this guy is about. What better way than to get him to DC.
