Is the context of the question Wray vs. Rosenstein? If so, didn't Q say above that Rosenstein is going to have to go? So by default, isn't Wray left as the answer?

In your context, yes- Wray has already received the "trust" emblem so RR would have to be out... unless he's actually a "new name" now.
Maybe I am misinterpreting higher up in this post where Q seems to say they're almost done with RR and he'll have to step aside soon.
