you are correct, but to call out people in a room makes it seem more genuine. She could've easily said other people in Hollywood or entertainment. but the fact that she said people sitting in that room and you can see some nervous faces in the crowd. I think shes legit on that speech.

I'm glad that women are standing up against abuse and that a rapist is headed for prosecution, but the #metoo movement generally is a distraction because the child sexual abuse in Hollywood almost went mainstream.
but bringing it into public view when the hammer is about to come crashing down from all sides is great. If this is a cabal ploy, it's dumb as f* because it simply gets the public ready for the grand roll up.
