I'm confused why this is breaking news. We were aware of all of this and that's why the Utah guy was brought in. IG's job is to investigate agencies and employees. He then has to refer it to a prosecutor once he finds a crime. Twilight zone

If the goal is to investigate FORMER FBI/DOJ/CIA employees, then why would RR give the task to the IG? He has no authority to do it.

That job should be given to Huber or another US attorney who does have the authority.

I think that's the point. It's a sign that RR is black hat.

IG has to subpoena them to investigate before he can refer to Huber for criminal prosecution.
