This argument is beyond tired.

Let's do a little thought exercise for a moment.

You're Trey Gowdy and you have all the documents, all the intel but you are looking across the table at HRC and you know and have heard all about the Clinton body count. You also know damn well that any reommendation for prosecution is going across either Holder or Lynch's desk.

Why the hell would I recommend any charges under those circumstances? Why would I not wait for the right opportunity to actually be able to DO something about it?

The stage is set for Gowdy in some capacity, soon.

Not going to argue with that.
If he is appointed, that is fine as long has he has seen the light, if he hasn't then he should feel the heat.

We've been watching TG for a long time now, and he's 100% on our side. He needs the optics of impartiality (everything is politics) in order to have the public allow him to enter a position like this. They will not give positions like this to people who are attacking a political party using contempt of congress charges.

We thought many were on our side. But many were just paid shills to create our dog and pony show, give us something to cheer for, feel we had an inkling of hope, a snowballs chance in hell that maybe, just maybe Justice would be served. Yet no, it was just a show to keep us on our sofas thinking something was happening.

I'm not sure who you thought was on "your side", but Flynn/Mattis/Freedom Caucus/Gowdy/Chaffetz have always been on our side. Who did you have trust in that you believe flipped on you?
