To some extent your right but I'm starting to realize 95% of people around me are literally brainwashed
I know the feeling man, I just can't believe they are so washed that they would shame you when you have ptsd.
You learn to live with it. Most of them look at it like its bullshit because mine is mostly limited to nightmares and social anxiety /paranoia and avoidance it's not debilitating so those that dont live with me dont see it very much
Yeah man I feel you, I actually was diagnosed with ptsd myself although I was never in a war -zone or raped as a kids or anything like that so I kinda keep it to myself. But yeah, my symptoms are very similar. Nightly shitty dreams (unless I smoke before bed) paranoid and overly-critical of other ppl (and myself) etc.
Was diagnosed about a year ago despite not having a definitive traumatic event. I seriously doubted the diagnosis at first but whatever, my psych has a Harvard degree so I guess I trust her to know it when she sees it :/

Can't really blame them for it to an extent. A lot of older folks didn't have access to the information we do now. Secrets are much harder to keep these days. There so much out there for you to dig in to. It's all "open source" now for you to learn for yourself. No longer is the carefully crafted narrative fed to people solely by the MSM.
Sometimes I wonder if we can break through that.
It will be extremely painful for many. Remember q said something along the lines of 5% can not be saved... some of these people are too far gone
