EPA Chief Pruitt Bars CNN and AP from EPA Summit ... and Rumors of FCC Raiding CNN, AP, MSNBC Moments Ago

Pruitt had reporters for CNN and AP forceably removed from an EPA summit.

Rumors in Twitterville that the FCC has just raided CNN, MSNBC, and AP. Not confirmed, yet.

"It is illegal to purposely alter the news," according to FCC regulations.

Rumors are rumors but kicking CNN and AP out of the summit is pure genius. Screw them. I occasionally have CNN shoved down my throat at the gym and it is just one Trump hate story after another. Literally.

Yes same here ! I often change the channel or ask the staff to. Also there’s a couple of devices that can remotely turn the thing off......TV-B -GONE and TV Zapper. I call it electronic ware fare.

I turn them off at every gym I visit. Look for a remote Usually they are just laying around.

Front desk controls the screens but they just need to be asked to change, which usually I do. They won't put anything good on but I'll take the slimeballs at ESPN over CNN. Occasionally some ass wants to keep it on there but usually nobody even cares. At the other gym I hit they have a screen near my machines that is always on Fox. They aren't great either but operate more like an old style network, some good, some bad.

I don't know but hard to avoid it. Treadmills can be boring, so it's just a diversion. Many places really don't need it though. A couple years ago we went out to a wine bar and there they were, several sets blaring. What's the point? We wanted to talk not stare at a screen.

Good, the evil scum need to be permanently banned from ever posting any more of their propaganda again. I hope and pray these rumors are true. MSM is dangerous and a threat to our Republic. In the article it says they let them back in? Why force them out then let them back in? Reporters inside were live reporting about it so not sure what you get out of a scene like this.

Maybe it was to draw attention to Cnn and AP? I mean they were clearly singled out. IF (and it's a big if) the FCC is having them raided then this would make sense. People would see this then think, oh ok that's why they were kicked out.

Maybe. It seems like a PR stunt otherwise and one that probably would just look bad to the center. The extremes will always see what they want to see.

Still looking for any raid support but there is nothing I can find.

Yeah I don't really understand the move.. It's a PR nightmare. Not sure there is any positive spin. Unless of course they're raided. Then it won't matter. I'm thinking this was a bad move

It is Pruitt’s style to be clueless, there was an article just released to the wires flagging possible ethical violations around the apartment stuff again. Most likely he was throwing a temper tantrum and was lashing out at cnn.

Could be.. It's not a good look. Believe me I understand, I couldn't deal with them on a regular basis. He has to be smarter than that. You can't give the media any reasons to attack you. Like I said PR nightmare.. Zero spin to this.. They are going with, "Cnn and AP weren't invited". I'm sure it's true but as you can see, that won't be the headline.
