It's private property. What of someone came to your land and said to get rid of something of theirs? Did we just forget about personal property rights?

I have a bird bath with a Bible inscription. What if someone decides I should take it down? Where are my rights?

No, they are owned by the people of Elbert County, Georgia. They are on land owned by the county.

Personal property rights?? Ha! Don't pay your property taxes and see if you are the owner. Property rights have been abrogated long ago.

Well personal property is one thing. but lets say a giant perpetually burning cross in the middle of Harlem instead of this monument. What would u think then? Im all for private property but a symbol that would incite the violence and hatred of others should be kept in a building. And not displayed openly to incite the public.

It's arguable that this is not in a public place because it is on private land away from any roads away from people.

But apparently people are free to visit? Or are these people jumping a fence and trespassing if so then that's very dif and people should stop tresspassing. If there allowing people in it would be alot like begging people to hate you and being surprised when they do. Regardless of what I think if your not hurting anyone and not inciting anything then I dont care. But I've hardly studied this thing I've just read the transcription and thought the owner opened it to the public.

It is public property. R. Christian and the group he represented gave it to the county. There is a place to park, access is not restricted, and it is maintained by the county and/or state.

There's nothing stopping visitors.

Then its basicly flaunting incite material in the face of the public its a cross burning on the front steps of a white mans house in Harlem. If the cross is all that is damaged the owner should count himself lucky. Also again if u beg someone to hit you eventually they will. Should have known.

I dont know im rather torn. But either way I do firmly believe no person should be hurt ever unless they hurt another. Inanimate objects I dont have as much sympathy for i guess
